Welcome to Palmetto Montessori School!
As the only Montessori school located in this part of South Carolina, we are proud to offer a comprehensive Montessori education from toddler through the sixth grade.
Palmetto Montessori School is located just off of I-77, exit 32 Peach Road, in close proximity to Lang-Mekra North America, in Fairfield County (please click here to see map).
Palmetto Montessori School is an academic Montessori school. Our philosophy is inspired by the educational concepts of Dr. Maria Montessori, the first female physician in Italy, who designed and created the educational materials used for each age of development. By using hands-on materials to teach lessons, children begin to truly understand concepts rather than merely memorizing facts.

- The Academic Day at PMSR is from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm and 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for elementary students.
- Extended care hours are available from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm.
